How to Find Us

Horse-E-Things is based on two floors of an old industrial estate behind some houses in Ashford Road in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. If you click on the map opposit, it will be displayed in greater detail, alternatively just follow the directions given.

From the South, take the A338 from Ringwood (signposted Fordingbridge & Salisbury) and follow this until you reach Fordingbridge. Take the slip road off of the bye-pass, follow the road over the river bridge and turn left into the High Street. Now follow the directions below.

From Salisbury, Downton and the North, take the A338 to Fordingbridge. As you approach Fordingbridge you will pass through a small hamlet called Burgate (you will see the Tudor Rose thatched public house on your right and then Burgate school also on the right. As you draw level with the school you should take the right hand turn into the town instead of following the bye-pass to Ringwood. You are now on the old Salisbury road and should follow this for about a mile until you reach the mini-roundabout by the high street.

Go over the roundabout and take the high street, signposted Sandleheath.From the High Street, follow the signs towards Sandleheath. At the top end of the High Street the road bears right, you will wind around past the police and fire stations, then up a hill to a small mini roundabout outside the Augustus John Public House.

At this roundabout turn left into Ashford Road. The first turning on your left is Victoria road, the second very narrow entrance between number 7 and 11 Ashford road, leads to the Industrial Estate, which is officially signed as Ashford Marine Works.

From Alderholt, Cranbourne and the South West. Follow the road to Alderholt then follow signs to Fordingbridge. At the top of the hill opposite the old infirmary there is a narrow track on your left sign posted to Sandleheath. Either take this lane or continue down into the high street then come back out on the Sandleheath road from the High Street following the directions given above.

From Martin, Rockbourne and the West. Make your way to Sandleheath via Damerham or Rockbourne and follow the road towards Fordingbridge. At the Augustus John pub opposite a large green industrial warehouse you will come across a small mini-roundabout. Take a right turn into Ashford Road and Ashford Marine Works is the second turn on the left.
